Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 9 beginning with socializing at 6:30pm followed by the program and meeting at 7:00pm.
“PYREX – Development and History”
Our own member, Cynthia Hillman, will be sharing her knowledge of the development of Pyrex as a kitchen commodity. Her story is interesting and should inspire us all to use more glass items for storage rather than plastic; It is the environmental “way to go!”
If you have pieces of these very sought after kitchen items by Corning Glass Co., bring one or two items along to share and add to her story. Let us see how many different patterns we can have represented at this meeting.
